christopher j. elliott, founder of glandon capital group, has devoted his career to diligent, thorough risk management.
Glandon Capital began in 2005 as a loan participation platform and developed a relationship network of 50 community banks and managed over $300 million in assets. Glandon made a pivot early in the Great Recession and found a niche in distressed debt investing and also consulted on the FDIC’s whole bank with loss share acquisition program. In the economic recovery Glandon filled gaps in the private loan product market with bank quality underwriting and private equity risk adjusted returns.
Before founding Glandon Chris spent 11 years at RBC Centura. At RBC he helped build and manage a $1 Billion banking center in Charlotte and also started the Atlanta office.
Chris holds the credit risk certified designation (RMA-CRC) from the Risk Management Association, and is highly adept at finding opportunities and structuring opportunities where dislocation exists in the financial marketplace.
